"The Champions" Basketball Camp

“The Champions” basketball camp is designed to help strengthen and teach boys ages 7-15, the fundamentals of basketball such as offensive, defensive techniques, strengthening, conditioning and drills. Administered by young collegiate athletes, area youth sports program directors and pro specialists; the camp features guest speakers from the NBA such as Marvin Williams (Charlotte Hornets) and NBA Analyst Brendan Haywood, current UNC Tar Heels basketball team and more.
During the five-day camp, students are divided into teams based on age, height and skill level to create a competitive but impartial atmosphere. Each day the camp will highlight a skill fundamental of basketball in addition to learning how to watch game film, proper practice techniques and stretching and conditioning methods. Over the course of the camp, students participate in "playoff" games throughout the week and top the week off with both championship and all-star games.
The Champions” basketball camp stresses the importance of building life skills such as good sportsmanship, discipline, dedication and citizenship. These concepts are all part of the week's curriculum.
Many of last year's campers called this “the best basketball camp they had ever attended.”
“The Champions” basketball camp selects outstanding people we believe is of high integrity and character, work ethic and willingness to pour their lives into helping campers fulfill their potential. We work hard to hire college players, college and high school coaches who are dynamic and competent teachers of the game.
Our camp Directors have been running Kids Camps and programs for over ten years.
The goal of “The Champions” Basketball Camp staff is to create and maintain a fun, safe, educational, supportive, positive Camp environment.
The cost for each camper is $385.00 and this includes lunch and two snacks each day of camp. Campers also receive; t-shirts, wristbands and backpacks full of school supplies and other goodies.
